Code of Christian Conduct:

It is the expectation of our host committee that the dignity and integrity of the ACYOA and the Armenian Church are upheld during the course of the 2019 General Assembly & Sports Weekend. All participants and guests attending any activity affiliated with the Weekend will be held accountable for their actions. In an effort to ensure a safe and enjoyable weekend for all, the following guidelines will be enforced by the Sports Weekend Committee and respective venue security and/or police departments throughout the weekend:
• Participants must be at least 18 years of age AND have graduated from High School prior to the 2018 - 2019 academic year in order to take part in Sports Weekend. No minors will be permitted in hotel rooms. Absolutely no exceptions to this rule. • In order to attend, registered participants must be approved by a clergyman, and by the ACYOA Central Council and host Sports Weekend Committee  • Only registered participants may attend weekend events. The only exception is the Sunday Evening Event, that is open to adults in the community and their children, who are accompanied by their parents. Tickets will not be sold at the door for any event, and paper tickets will not be distributed. A valid photo ID must be shown for entrance to all events. • Proper dress and language are expected at all times. • Any acts of vandalism, destruction of property, or misuse of facilities, at any of the respective venues, will not be tolerated. • Destructive behavior of any sort will not be tolerated. • Excessive noise in the hotel including hotel rooms will not be tolerated. • Participants and/or guests deemed to be intoxicated or under the influence of any drug will be denied entry into events. • No alcohol from the outside may be brought into any of the facilities  • The consumption of alcohol by those under the age of 21 is strictly prohibited by law, and will be dealt with in accordance with local and/or state law. • The use and/or distribution of controlled dangerous substances will not be tolerated and will be referred directly to the local police department. • Any other illegal activity, as stated in the local Statutes, will be referred to the local police department for investigation and adjudication.
